March – We came up to Lancelin to dive the Key Biscayne wreck – an old oil rig that sank in 1983 about 10 miles off ledge point. I had booked to do two days of diving and so we decided to stay in Lancelin instead of travelling to and from Perth. We found the Windsurfer Beach Chalets online and booked for two nights – very glad we did so, as the chalet was very comfortable and had more than enough room for us both. The location was great too, metres from the beach and just a short walk from the centre of town. The kitchen was well set up so I was able to cook up some fresh crayfish before we strolled down to the tavern for the night. Lancelin was great – beautiful scenery, clear blue water and white sand beaches, plus friendly people – all in all a great weekend getaway. The owners were very kind and helpful and were able to accommodate our way after-hours arrival as well as provide information and recommendations for our stay.

Feb – My husband and I have been staying at the Windsurfer Beach Chalets on an annual basis over the time that the units have been managed by the current team. The units are perfectly positioned very close to the windsurfing and kitesurfing beaches and within the same block as Lancelin’s best bakery. We return every year to clean, well provisioned units, friendly staff and responsive and accommodating management. We make use of the kitchen facilities in the units and of the BBQ areas for entertaining. Our experiences at WBC have always been pleasant with Kim and Dale providing an appropriate personal touch throughout our stays. I whole-heartedly recommend the Windsurfer Beach Chalets to anyone wanting a relaxed holiday – particularly if you are wanting to spend time sailing or kiting on one of the best beaches in Australia.
